Go-Ride Coaching

Good morning folks,

After lengthy discussions, and on the back of yesterday's club ride announcements we're pleased to announce that Go-Ride Coaching will resume on Monday 3rd August.

We'll be running two sessions on Mondays at Cow Rakes Recreation Ground on a 1:12 group basis until advice from the government/British Cycling changes. Booking is essential.

Please note the following, which will apply to ALL Go-Ride sessions until further notice.

Booking is required, as we have to keep a record of attendees for Track & Trace purposes and limit the numbers in sessions to adhere to maximum group sizes set out by British Cycling.

There will also be strict adherence to social distancing guidelines.

We've worked hard to make sure sessions will be safe. We expect children and parents to follow all guidance currently in place as set out by the government.

Children will be expected to use the provided hand sanitiser on arrival.

Groups will be kept apart in the space provided using colour coding. Your child will be handed a cleaned, coloured bib at the start of a session and expected to keep it on at all times. They will then only work with the children/coach of the same coloured bib grouping.

Parents must wait in their child's group waiting area.

If anyone in your household is showing any COVID-19 symptoms please do not attend a session. You will be asked to leave immediately.

Following Track & Trace protocol, you must also notify us if you or your child show any COVID-19 symptoms within 14 days of attending a session.

We have to be strict on the above, on group numbers and following ALL guidance set out by the government and British Cycling or the club will not be insured.

A massive thanks to Chris Habershon and Claire Morgan for facilitating this. As you can imagine, it's not been a straight forward task.

We've set out the schedule for August in the first instance and you can book your child onto sessions here:

If you have any questions please don't hesitate to get in touch.
