Ride Report - Rother Valley
Staying local for this week's MTB ride we had 7 club members out, ready and raring to tackle what Rother Valley had to throw at us.
Leaving the café we climbed right up to the top of the ski slope before taking the red route wooded area. This is really great. We had so much fun.
Nice, twisty singletrack but not too challenging. The folk at Rother Valley Riders should be proud.
We then took in some of the old route over in the marshland before heading back to have another run through the woods.
After that we tackled Diggers Downhill be heading back to the café for a brew and a butty.
A very enjoyable trip, we'll be back.
The onsite cafe at RV is well equipped with both inside on outside seating in the courtyard. It's also somewhere we could visit on the road bikes.
So, we'll be back.
Everybody did well on the twisty stuff in the woods. A few minor spills on slippy routes, but nothing to write home about.
Our next club ride is this Sunday (11th Dec), our Christmas Ride. Fancy dress is preferred, but optional. Hope to see as many of you out as possible.
I will be leading.
