Tier 3 - Very High

From 00:01 on Saturday, Sheffield City Region (basically South Yorkshire) will move into Tier 3 - Very High.

Regarding club rides, this means we can’t leave South Yorkshire. Ride Captains will be altering routes to accommodate these new restrictions.

Most rides will now have to head North or East as going south from us we very quickly hit Nottinghamshire (Langold, Oldcotes) or Derbyshire (Killamarsh).

It does mean that for the handful of you from outside of South Yorkshire we’ll have to see you when this all blows over as travelling into a Very High area is also restricted

you should try to avoid travelling outside the very high alert level area you are in or entering a very high alert level area, other than for things like work, education or youth services, to meet caring responsibilities or if you are travelling through as part of a longer journey

you should avoid staying overnight in another part of the UK if you are resident in a very high alert level area, or avoid staying overnight in a very high alert level area if you are resident elsewhere

A full update on Tier 3 - Very High is here:

Thanks, folks.
